In 2012 the Birmingham St Mary's Hospice Butterfly Appeal, formerly known as the Annual Street Collection, takes place on Friday, September 28th and Saturday September 29th. Over the years, the collection has brought in around £350,000 for the Hospice, funding thousands of hours of care. The 2011 campaign alone raised a fantastic £9,748.02. This is an incredible contribution and only made possible thanks to the dedication of volunteers who've stood on streets across our city whatever the weather. You'd be proud of Amanda Dad, she braved the cold & rain to stand on Kings Heath High Street collecting much needed donations. Not an easy task to do, asking strangers for their money, but Amanda did it for you Dad, motivated by the love that we have for you and your memory xx
